    Hi, is it possible to have additional (virtual) column where I could multiply two values from element parameters? For example, I have area and weight as parameters and I would like to get a third value where it would show weight/area or similar.

      This can be now done in Excel when using the templates.
      Would you like to have similar to the Excel functions in Solibri?
      E.g. =“Weight” / “Area”

        Yes, I’d like to have it in solibri. I think its quite important to see and better understand values while seeing elements in 3D.
        Moreover, it would be wonderful if information takeoff could do simple equations, like IF X>50, yes, no and etc.
        Moreover, it would be wonderful if information takeoff could color cells based on rules
        Moreover, it would be wonderful if information takeoff could make a heatmap, based on color range and parameters values it would assign colors to make a gradient.

          This is possible using JavaScript columns.

            @BIM1337 It’s nice that people can make these things themself if they are an expert in that field, but i’d still rather have these functions in the vanilla version of Solibri. More accessibility for (basic) functionality is always a great improvement in my eyes.

                Yeah, you’ll have to ask one of the admins to grant you access.

                Agree, but unfortunately, no software will provide us with all our needs, so it’s always nice if there’s another unorthodox route we can follow to achieve the same result.

                  @BIM1337 you are right. The thing is that making detached data in xls isn’t very visual way to understand information. I think that it would be wonderful to have simple equations in solibri as well to visualize data.

                    @twosk

                    Yeah that is what I was trying to say, this is possible using JavaScript ITO columns. You can basically enter any calculation you want based on data in the columns before it or extracting data from objects that are filtered in a row.

                    Post the ITO if you want with the calculation you want and I can show you what I mean, I’ll edit the ITO for you.
