Hi, Is there any planned development for integrating Solibri with Bentley Projectwise?

Hi. What kind of integration would you be looking for?

Hi Lasse, for Solibri to read and update IFC files within projectwise. Would this be possible?

Solibri provides an API that can be used to connect to it. This is used at least by Archicad (https://www.solibri.com/news/solibri-connection-for-archicad-23-released) and could be used by Bentley Projectwise, but the functionality (for connecting to Solibri) needs to be developed in Bentley Projectwise. It would be possible to have such functionality that whenever a model updates in Projectwise, the changes are sent to Solibri (as IFC) and the updated state would show up in Solibri as well.

Great! Can we have the API to generate our own link with PW? We have programmers that can work with Projectwise to develop this. My email is [email protected]

So currently the REST API capabilities are not properly documented, but you can get started by launching Solibri with additional command line arguments

              --rest-api-server-port=12345 --rest-api-server-http

This will start listening on port 12345. After the software has started, there is API documentation available in your browser at

              http://localhost:12345/solibri/v1/

We are working on adding online documentation for this, and I hope it will be available in the near future. You can also write on https://society.solibri.com/category/7/solibri-developer-platform for wishes, bug reports or more questions on how to use the APIs.

The REST API documentation is now live https://solibri.github.io/Developer-Platform/9.10.6/RestApiUsage.html

Hi @lasse-lindqvist, regarding ProjectWise, are there any future plans to add ProjectWise among the integrations available in the vanilla version of Solibri? Thanks
