Ressources already in use?
-
In recent times when freshly opening Solibri by double-clicking on IFCs while using roles with ressource loading on startup enabled it happens from time to time that lots of pop-ups appear … they’r indicating that the ressources are already in use and I am asked if I want to restore them.

Maybe the info text is a bit misleading either but I don’t really understand what’s the matter or better the trigger here. Plus: Does it even make a difference if I click yes or no? My guess is that probably the connection breaks, but apart from that, what’s else happening … apart from having to do some clickwork to get rid of them?

Could you check if your role has the same classification twice.
This is easy to reproduce by adding and starring two classifications with the same name.
The file name can be different, only the classification name matters.Cannot have two classifications with the same name open at the same time:

Role allows to have duplicate classifications:

The file name can be different, only the classification name matters.Well, in the role window I have them just once.

But just realized that …

… I have some retired versions in subfolders present as well - could this be the culprit?

Will test removing them, but another observation I made was that this popups have not been appearing every start but sometimes. So not sure how the iteration for the ressource searching in the root path is done, but somehow this might explain this as well. As I said will first check if removing legacy files resolves this.
