Visibility Issue: Oversized blue labels in clash matrix
-
In the clash matrix, the clash dimensions are shown with large blue labels. This makes the view very cluttered, especially when there are many clashes. It would be helpful to have an option to make these labels smaller, more transparant, or to temporarily hide them to improve visibilty and usabilty.

Hello!
Under the measurement tool settings, try the Auto-hide measurements setting. This will display the bubbles only once you zoom in close enough. Check this page out for more info:

Thanks for the tip, Toni!
I tried the Auto-hide measurements option, and it definitely helps when zooming in. However, is there also a way to completely hide the measurement labels if needed? For example, through a separate setting or toggle?
In some cases, it would be useful to temporarily work without the blue bubbles at all to get a clearer view of the model.
Thanks in advance!

@yb_ Not sure if this helps in all cases, but it is possible to open up the measurements dialogue and temporarily hide measurements in any view which has measurements. Simply select the measurements (or select one and ctrl + A), and use the hide functionality:

Thanks Toni
Just wanted to mention that when there are too many clashes, it can take 3 minutes or even longer for the measurements to load or respond. That makes it quite difficult to work efficiently, especially when trying to toggle the visibility of the labels.

@yb_ Which version are you working with?
With 25.3.1 we implemented improvements to the visualizations with API rules, which affect also CDM. We have the next version (25.6.0) coming out next week with some more goodies, so might be good to wait for that.
In any case, performance related issues are on the list this whole year. If you have not yet, please log this issue with our support team at [email protected]. It would be good to reproduce the issue, and provide also the log files.
Kind regards,
Toni
