Location of section plane?

I recently noticed that if one if the loaded models has a differenct loaction, an offset in context of the other models, then the section plane can’t really be controlled due to the fact that it’s far away as well although I wanted to assign it to just this model. Has it always been like that? Could this be due to a double guid issue of the IfcSite?

We’re facing the same issue again with a project that has large linear expansion.
Would it be possible to define and control the origin of the section planes in a better way?
