    Hi All,

i am trying to create an ITO that allows me to list Assemblies and then parts, Colour them all by Assembly then add a classification that says Approved or Rejected. Something like this:_

However, i am finding that I cannot get the Colour to only work on the Assembly Type, similarly the Classification is being added at every element level which is not really want i wanted.

any ideas or suggestions to solve or improve this would be appreciated.

If you rightclick the color column… you can choose what property Solibri is using to colour…

Standard is type, but you can change that to another column in your ITO.

      Hope that helps.

Thanks for the reply but that was not what i was meaning. I had tried that previously but it does not seem work as intended.

I would like each assembly to be a different colour and therefore all the parts within that assembly to be the same.

It appears that once you add the Decomposed elements of the assembly that ability is lost.

If there is any other information your main assembly and its decomposed elements would have in common e.g. a Property, then you would be able to select this value for your colour column and you should get what you want.

Edit: probably you could also use classifications for it but as you cannot use relations there I doubt it

Does you classification give colours to objects? If so, I believe, that it overides the coulours of ITO.
