BCF Live Connector - BIM Collab server

Hello Solibri Society,
I’m writing this message to have a feedback and to know if I am the only one in this situation. I have several problem with solibri and particullary with the new version.
I installed the solibri 9.12.1 version, and use it on some projects with BIMCollab server.
Once connected and synchronise with BimCollab server, every thing I do in the BCF Live Connector view is really really slow. Each time i just click on an issue it takes like 1minute to show/visualize the issue’s viewpoint. The Live Issue Detail is really slow too and takes time to update when clicking on an other issue… there is always a delay.Other problem, when synchronising updates from selected issues with the BIMCollab server, the blue progressing bar (at the bottom) never end instead of the issues are synchronised on the server.
Once more, when synchronising issues on the server, the comments are multiplied several times so the issue’s follow-up is impossible. It often change the author of the comments too…
I have the impression that this new version just slowed down my coordination process… Like everything I do take more time on the new version.
Am I the only one in this situation ? Do you know something that could cause these problem ?Thank you for your help

Hi. Did you get a chance to try the beta version (9.12.2 beta) that was available a while back? It had some performance improvements for UI lagginess and I wonder if they would have fixed the issue you are experiencing.

Thanks for the feedback. Version 9.12.1 does indeed have some issues with sluggishness, some of these are due to:

Having the Link column visible in the BCF Live View (testable by disabling the column).

Using the thumbnail mode in BCF Live View.

Having a relatively large project.
These cases have been resolved for 9.12.3, and a beta version for testing will be available shortly!
Regarding comment duplication, this may be due to a project being created with an earlier version of Solibri (not using BCF Live connector), we suggest that all project participants use the newest version to avoid these issues. Please see the insights here for some more tips.
I will create a post here in Society when the new beta version becomes available for download. Please test, and let us know if 9.12.3 resolves your issues.

Thank you for your answer. I’ve tested the 3 problem sources that you mensioned but nothing really improve the speed and fluidity of the BCF Live View. I have to say that it’s quite a big project with a quite high number of issues… but it was running well with the older version.
This is the first existing project that I am experiencing on the 9.12.1, with same the solution we discuss last time (create a new BIMCollab server and import on it the existing issues).
I really hope that this will change with the next version.Regarding comment duplication problem, it comes not when using the 9.12 version but on older project still using 9.10 (because I can’t create a new BIMCollab server for this one). Si all project participant are using the 9.10 version, including me. And each time I sync with server, it duplicates like 20times each comment…
I can’t wait to test and use the next 9.12.3 version…
