    Hi, this may be a noob question…
    I don’t understand, which file is chosen as the source of a federated floor.
    Why different files?
    And is there any way to influence this?

    “GA-SO-A” could be considered as “the main file”, while “BO-00-K” is some unimportant kitchen thingy…

    Any insight would be appreciated…

    Stefan

    [Edit: And why is this formatted as it is? I didn’t want to shout…}

      The model discipline has an impact on that afaik e.g. the federated floors are derived from the Architectural Model if the other model e.g. is Building Services. However I am not totally aware either how the hierarchy is set up so it would be good to know more about it!

        Thanks for answering.
        The “GA…”-model above is “Architectural”, while the “BO…”-model is set to “Inventory”.
        But this mixup happened in the process of rebuilding the SMC model and short naming structure with some dummy files to reduce loading and classification time, so maybe the architecural model was’nt always present.

        My original problem with this:
        Federated floors are used in some of my checking rules and are listed as
        [(short name)] [floor name].
        What happens, if - in the lack of the correct fed. floor - I define a rule using
        “(BO-00-K) 2. Untergeschoss”
        and then the BO model is removed/substituted/renamed/has renamed floors/whatever?

        I live a life in fear 😧
