    Hello everyone,

Our team at Solibri has been working in a joint effort with Bimcollab to find and resolve the various bugs related to duplicated issues with BCF live (as well as some other related bugs).

On BIMcollab’s side, several improvements have been implemented and rolled out.
Solibri will roll out a fix in the next Solibri beta which is due next Tuesday so we are expecting all issues to be resolved next week.

Once the new version is out, we will post another update.
We hope this will help resolve all existing issues, but please let us know if any issues persist.

    Have a good weekend,
    David and the Solibri team.

Hello David, that is good news for BIM Collab users.
We are having the same problem with BIM Track and Solibri. Multiple users on different pcs suddenly getting duplicates appearing on BIM Track and then imported to the BCF LIVE VIEW dialog. The duplicates sometimes keep the original issue image and sometimes a generic image replaces the original. On every duplicate the comments are replaced with the name of the current Solibri user, rendering the audit trail of comments to be useless, as a number of people have already stated on previous posts. We are able to trace the original issues and delete the duplicates, but it can be a time consuming process. We have the auto sync switched off and the duplication stops as soon as the connection to Solibri is switched off. We are using 9.12.3

We have tried workarounds of going back to importing BCF files from BIM Track to a Solibri presentation but the images change when imported. Hidden elements and switched off models all reappear and some of the issues require reformatting to look something like they should. Therefore this is not really a viable workaround.

One pattern that we think might be causing this issue is different users working in the same model. The duplication started when I took over another colleagues model, when he was away from the office. A couple of other colleagues had similar problems when they took over other users models, when they were absent as well. They had been working in the models for some time without having any problems until another user logged in and worked in the BCF LIVE VIEW.

We have been liaising with Solibri in the UK and we know they are working hard to find a fix.

Have the changes you have made going to fix these BIM Track problems as well, or are they purely related to BIM Collab? Thanks

        Hello everyone,

On Wednesday we have released the Beta version of our new release (9.12.6).
This version includes the fixes and improvements to the BCF-API communication.
We’ve included a new indication of issue sending fails - a new icon is displayed in the issues table and the issues won’t duplicate anymore.

Depending then on the synchronization mode, sending the issue will be tried again, if you are using Automatic Synchronization. If you are not using Automatic Synchronization, then the issue will be sent again, when you press the “Mark As Ready” button.

Another thing that was fixed was the duplicated color specification for the same component. This might occur, if the Solibri model has the same IFC model imported twice, e.g. different versions of it, and components of both models appear colored in a viewpoint. This might happen also, if two components have the same IFC GUID in one IFC file. Now only one color definition is sent.

These improvements will help in similar problems with other servers as well.

If you would like to join the Beta program and test these fixes, you can do so by following the instructions on this link.

After the beta phase, these fixes will be included in the public release which should be available around the 18th of May.

        Thank you,
        David and the Solibri team.
