    Just upgraded to latest version of Solibri and found that it is no longer possible to open a model and then add subsequent models. This is a retrograde step in the functionality, as Anywhere is a useful tool to undertake a basic check on whether ifc files from different authoring platforms have been exported to the same project coordinates. Paying for a full licence to undertake such a menial task is asking a bit much of subscribers.
    Can this functionality be reinstated in Anywhere please.

      Hi. One alternative to buying a license is buying a subscription (https://buy.solibri.com/) which requires no large up-front payments.

        You’re correct to a degree but why should users be held to ransom for such a basic task that doesn’t undermine the primary reasons for purchasing the Office version. 130 euros a month to visually see if two models align is excessive.
        I will just have to use one of the other free viewers on the market to undertake this activity (even Navisworks Freedom allows this!!).

          @julianj

          I agree.
          It gets more and more difficult to keep users on Solibri Anywhere.

            This is the bitter part, working with proprietary software. First they let you taste the apple, and later you need to pay. This does not happen only with solibri but for other software vendors it is even much worse.
            Therefore in this case you will need to switch your workflows to other means, whether it is Navisworks or even BIMcollabZoom. But keep one thing in mind, that the other software someday in the future will also put you in the same situation. Then the story begins again for a new software search…
            Solution: OpenSource 😉
