Clash results grouping

Hi,
is it possible to possible to group General Intersection Rule results based on parameter? For example by level?
I could could filter elements based on levels and do each level a intersection rule. But this method would not be universal for every project. -
Hi @twosk
It sounds like you are hoping to create your own “Categorization of Results” in the general intersection rule similar to what is available in the property rule. I would recommending up voting that thread and commenting on this request here: https://society.solibri.com/topic/1027/general-intersection-rule-sol-1-5-0-categorication-of-results
In the meantime, if you would like to isolate the issues based on a property, such as a floor, you could use the Federated floor hierarchy in the Model Tree view to select those components, and use the Filter by Selection option in the Results view.
Or, you could right click a component in the 3D VIew , click Section Above and Below, and then use “Filter by Section”
Or, you could create your classifications/ITOs you want to group by, and again select those classifications or rows in the ITO, set them to the selection basket, and then filter by selection in the Results view.

This is basically the workflow I use when I am filtering issues globally and if you ask me usability could be better.
As this is a classic request of the category “better issue management” the following topic might also be of interest.
https://society.solibri.com/topic/1895/better-issue-management/2I also leave another topic here as to me the whole thing is not just about filtering checking results where you can at least achieve in a smart way what’s discussed here but it’s a totally different story when it comes to slides and this is at least as important in my eyes. There issues still need to have manual labels or e.g. hints in the titel if you want to filter them in a fast way - in short lot of manual input is required to get reliable results.
