Error while opening IFC 4.3 file

Dear Solibri Team,

I’m getting an obscure error message while opening an IFC 4.3 file that i want to share.
Unfortunately i’m not able (allowed) to upload pictures…
Error:
Cannot invoke "java.lang.Class.newInstance()" because "<loc4>" is null.
Is there any chance to open IFC 4.3 files right now?
Since we are working on infrastructure projects we have a growing need to do so.

As of now i got no reaction from my support for that topic.
Maybe one of the Solibrians can give some hints on how to handle IFC 4.3 files and how the timetable for the support of such files looks like…

Hi all,

We are working on adding support for IFC 4.3 in the upcoming releases.
At the moment, a bit difficult to day when we will be fully compatible, but our goal is to have a high level of compatibility before the end of this year and we are aiming to added more support with every upcoming release.

Hi @paola-bronzo we are currently working on the certification of IFC4 import to fully support all Ifc4 Entities on a geometrical level. This phase is crucial as it ensures that our systems and processes align seamlessly with the IFC4 standard, thereby guaranteeing compatibility.

Upon successful completion of this phase, we are focusing on supporting IFC 4.3 entities. We will address this topic at the beginning of next year
