Ceiling Height ruleset

i am trying to get the ceiling heights from the floor to the suspended ceiling, but when i run a check, its checking the dimension from the suspended ceiling to the minimum height i had put in the parameter. What parameters do I have to set for Solibri to alert me when a ceiling is below the 2.29m minimum height from finish floor to suspended ceiling? See screenshots. I manually had to approve the ceiling heights that are correct, and reject the one that I knew was incorrect.

Alright, try this:

For Source Components (table on the left) - Only Slab
For Target Components (table on the right) - Only Suspended Ceiling (and exclusions)

It may be the way you set up the filters for Source Component and Target Component.

First, the “Floor” that you have in there is a container component, and I suppose those as such should not be used here

Instead try using Slab component.

Secondly, the rule works in this way: set Slabs in the left filter and Suspended Ceiling in the right filter.

1. Set the minimum height (as you already did)
2. Try setting filters in the Source Component to be Slabs (instead Floors) and Target Components to be Suspended Ceilings

Hi Jakub, thanks for responding and for your explanation.

I am still getting different results now where its checking the distance between different ceiling heights. I tried setting the container component as “slab” and “floor” but am still getting incorrect results. I also tried changing the order in which the components are listed, but still getting the same results. The picture below is showing the checking results im getting with the parameters (also screenshotted) below. Is there something else I should have changed?
