I am wondering if anyone has any experience on best practice for checking Bolt Spacings?

We are looking to develop a rule to check Spacing of Bolt Holes from the edge of a plate and also between holes.

I am finding however that the iFC models we are getting from the detailer done in ProSteel means the openings are per plate. ie one opening has two or more holes sometimes.

Is there a method anyone has developed that has worked? I have looked at using all the obvious space rules but it is finding openings that are in different plates as oppose to those within in a single plate.

    Any advice welcome
