Clarification - Check selected

What exactly does check selected do? Does it run all checks but only for components in selection basket OR does it run only the selected rule/ruleset?

Hi. It runs all the rules and rulesets, but only checks components that are in the selection basket.
It might however still generate results about components that are not in the selection basket if that component relates to the original problem, but is not the root component being checked. For example a rule about checking something about windows might generate a result about a column blocking the window even if the column is not in the selection basket, as long as the window is there.

Alright thanks, thats what I thought.
Would be nice to just right click on a ruleset and just run that particular rule for the whole model though
