    Hello,

I got a problem of element showing up in Solibri but being fully transparent.
They got a void material inside.

In another IFC viewer it’s okey.

The same view with the transparent element.

    Does anyone know why?
I thought at first that it was my IFC translator settings from Archicad but then the problem would be replicated in eveBIM or any other viewer no?

    Thanks for your help.
    Best regards,

      Hi again,
It may be related to the same topic.

Some elements on another IFC are there but not shown.

      In eveBIM it is shown.

      In Solibri not shown.

If I search for the GUID it does select the object.

Does anyone knows how it is possible?
      Thanks again 😃

        @mathieu-farine

Could you provide a sample model for testing.
You can also send the sample to Solibri support.

            Hi @mathieu-farine ,

The issue with suspended ceiling 1uJ8LzHX6kIg1JJNxY_iLt missing in Solibri seems to an error in modeling/export as the suspended ceiling has the void relation to an opening which cuts the whole ceiling (IfcCovering).

An internal bug report has been created for the issue where the wall component is shown as transparent.

            Best Regards,
            Anil

              Hi @anil

              Thanks again for your help!

I am looking into why these voids are created because it isn’t made on purpose in Archicad…

The only modelling element that could change between the different rooms is this column.

The finishes (IfcCovering.FLOOR or CEILING) above / below an IfcSlab (Insulation and Screed or Structural) is cut by this column.

Without the column we see that the boundary “void/full” have a point in common.

In these parts (and only them) we see object disappear (but they are present) and are replaced with voids (light blue).

Do you know what is the difference between a filled void and not filled void?

              Thanks for your help!
              Best regards,
