Slow Open/Save after update to 9.12.1.9

After updating to the latest build 9.12.1.9, I am getting very slow performance in opening and navigating the dialogs to open or save models, files, rulesets (any access to the file system). Once selected files open just fine. It seems to be just the interaction with the file system dialogs. I have the same problem navigating within the dialogs to different directories.

Is anyone else having this problem?

It’s happening on both Mac and Windows.

ETA: I’ve timed it now. Every, single action takes from 10 seconds to 2 minutes.

You mean 9.12.5.19?

I had a same problem recently where opening filters via the explorer took almost a minute out of the sudden. However after a system reboot this problem was gone and I have not yet had problems with it again. I thought it was just my machine but if others are experiencing similar behaviour it might be a thing.
