Too many measurements
-
Has anyone any idea how to reduce the number of these measurements when checking components for their distance from other components?

For the green pipe, there are 9 elements, hence there are 9 measures. Throughout the project I have hundreds of these measurements which make my file slower and especially the Checking tab.
Is there a possibility to group them maybe based on height, system, area???Any tips?

You could perhaps use the filter to only filter out certain components, or pipes over a certain length? Probably not exactly what you are trying to achieve though

Hi there,
Some quick thoughts, maybe it will help.
I would only include IfcDuctSegment and not the IfcDuctFitting.
Or only the insulation of these elements (IfcCovering that are related to a system per example)Then I would maybe check these against IfcSpace and exclude technical room types and nor IfcSlabs.
All the best!

@thudelicious
sadly this rule does not include a filtering as other SOLs do. Maybe a cascade rule could do the job…@mathieu-farine
That is a good tip. A more efficient way would be to exclude the Fittings instead of including all the necessary components.
I am a bit cautious with excluding components in certain spaces. I prefer to get some components more instead of excluding some that might have a big impact. Still, this will only reduce the number of these measurements by a small fraction. Or maybe do you know a better SOL to check the net height of pipes against the floor?
