BCF Live Connector cannot connect to latest version of Trimble Identity Login for Trimble Connect

Trimble Connect has recently changed to a new version of Trimble Identity login. The old url https://connectbcfapi.cloud.tekla.com/ which Solibri uses for authentication no longer works. Does anyone knows Trimble Connect’s new url for the BCF Live Connector?
Hopefully the next Solibri update can solve this.

I just encountered this issue as well, it does not seem to be fixed as of now.

So the Trimble Support informed me, that this is an issue Solibri is aware and working on. I wonder why a function is changed or dissolved (changed url) when a new one is not yet in sight.
@Solibrians: Any hint when this problem could be solved? In a current project Solibri -> Trimble connect is the requested workflow. There is no functioning workaround via bcf either.

Although the login implementation changes on our end were made in 9.12.8, it seems there is still a recurring connection issue specifically regarding Trimble Connect. We have reached out to Trimble to get more details on the topic, and will update here once we have some more information from their side.

@tonigyllenberg Any news about the connection to trimble connnect? I tried, but it seems that it still does not work…Also in the beta version 9.12.9 unfortunately not.

As an update on this, we got some feedback from the folks at Trimble. They are working on a new implementation, which will be their solution moving forward and will replace the current one. For more information, or bug reports, it would be best to reach out directly to Trimble support.

Just an update. I tried 9.12.9. Still cannot authenticate onto Trimble. Noted that Trimble is working on it.
The previous ToDo in Trimble connect and BCF import / sync (not just with Solibri) didn’t work anyway. I would simply consider Trimble hasn’t implemented BCF interoperability yet. Hopefully they would come up with something useful later.

also what is the name referring to in the add server?
It is the name under which the server will appear on the server list. You can set any custom name. Usual usage is when you connect to eg. Trimble Connect server you name it simply ‘Trimble’.

Have you heard anything from those Trimble guys when they are going to deliver their new BCF implementation?
I should have asked in their forum, but seems there are already a lot of users over there asking about BCF but never got any meaningful responses.
