Checked clashes lose link with issue
-
Hello,
Lately, my colleagues and I experience some trouble with the checking in Solibri.
In this case, the models in the SMC are already checked before. After an update of the models, we check again.
What happens, is that many clashes lose their link to the issue, but still remain rejected.
The issue loses its components with this.Does anyone have the same problem or knows why this is happening?
Thanks!

Did the guids change / was there (setting) change in the export process?
-
No, GUIDs didn’t change. It also still remembers it was rejected before. It has just lost the link to the issue.
-
When you talk about “clashes” you mean slides in presentations or in bcf live?
And how can the “issue lose components” but at the same time stay “rejected”?
Did you check all or just selected elements?
-
That’s my question: how is it possible (and why) that the issues loses it’s components, but the clashes still stay rejected.
For example:
When I update te model, after it is already checked, the clashes (not all clashes!) lose their link with the issue in the presentation (communication tab). It loses the link shown in the pictures below.

The problem is, the clash still stays rejected. The issue still exists in the presentation, but it doesn’t contain any components anymore, like in the picture below.

These are just examples.
It doesn’t happen with every model and it doesn’t happen with all the clashes. It also happens to all kinds of elements (in this example curtain walls, but also to walls, beams, etc.) -
Hi,
I have encountered the very same problem. Slides were lost even though guid did not change, but i thought it happens due to our workaround with BCF Live Connector. Do you use BCF Live connector as well to share the issues?
-
Yes, I also use the BCF Live connector to share the issues. Don’t know if that’s the problem.

I was thinking that the missing slides happening due to our workaround handling multiple clashes in bcf live connector. I am going to post about it in a new section, and let you know about. In short, creating a slide to a multiple issue will only keep the components of one single clash (on triangle level) when it comes to a live issue. So i have to add all the clashing components manually to be able to share the GUID/BATIS with the participants.

@manongrobben Hi, I did some tests, and I posted the result opening a new topic:
