Checking building to plot boundary distance compliance

Hello, I am trying to create ruleset that would check building distance to the plot boundary and if it is more than 2.5 meters or less - general compliance check up per say, yet I am nowhere close to solution, as I am not sure how can I measure wall distance to the boundary line which is usually annotation, and IFC file does not store any annotations in my case or at least it seems like it. So if anybody has any suggestions, do not hesitate to share it.

You’ll need to have some IFC to represent the site boundary. You could create an area plan with a new area scheme for the Site Boundary on the ground floor. Then draw the area boundaries where you site boundary is. This should export to an IfcSpace. You can then use the Component Inside Component rule to check that no walls are closer than a distance to the sides of the Site Boundary IfcSpace:
