    Hi Solibri

Our IT department have been reluctant to open the access for the ACC/Solibri integration, apparently due to the way the the integration requires access to the account admin rights on the ACC hub when making any API calls and are a bit unsure as to why this is needed(?)

Is there any chance you could provide any communication on this matter, which would comfort our IT department and make them enable the integration?

    BR
    Stewart

@StewartCobban What is your IT department basing this on? This sounds really odd.

@Pasi-Paasiala I’m not entirely sure, but guess it is due to the message when adding the Solibri app to the account/hub.

          Hey Stewart,

We are using the standard API provided by ACC which is used by many other integrations as well. This is how they set it up to allow us to access the different projects (hubs) and files on their servers. We don’t use the account admin for anything else but to synchronize data between ACC and Solibri. You can read more about the APIs here: https://aps.autodesk.com/en/docs/acc/v1/overview/

@david-polanski Thanks for clarifying, from my understanding our IT department had reached out to Autodesk as the entire issue is related to the API setup on Autodesks end as you mention.

For now it seems like i will be caught in a limbo. 😕
