    Hello,

I’m not able to delete existig markups in an Issue that is synchronized with the BCF Live Connector (in my case bimcollab). Is there a workaround or something?

    thanks, best regards
    Alex

Are you getting these from bimcollab? At the moment the only way might be to refcreate the viewpoint without markups.

The Issues were created with Solibri (with markups) and then synchronized with bimcollab. Now the Issues are synchronized from bimcollab. But there are new collisions, so I want to delete the old markups and create new ones.

I usually work with cutting boxes. Is there a way to keep the boxes when I recreate the viewport?

You can keep the cutting box and just “delete” the markups.

          1. choose the issue with the earlier viewpoint where you have cutting box and markups
          2. add a new viewpoint (the same from before should be created)
          3. now the new one can be edited. Markups can be “deleted” with the hide tool
          4. refresh the viewpoint and synchronize with BCF Server when ready (mark as ready)

Keep in mind to disable the automated synchronization of issues with BCF server in the setting before creating the new viewpoints.

            Hello Annabelle,

I’m not able to “delete” the markups with the hide tool.

I’ve recorded a video to show, what I’m doing. Perhaps I’m doing something wrong? Solibri_TjLjLjm4Sa.zip

            best regards
            Alex

This is interesting. You seem to do everything right, I’m not sure why it doesn’t work.
I could have a look into the file, if you’re able to send it to [email protected]

I can send you the file but you will not have access to the BIMcollab issues.

                  Hello Alex,

Were you able to fix this error? I have the same problem now. I made an issue on BIMcollab and after closing the connector these markups stay in my model.

                  Thank you,
                  Eren

                    Hello Eren,

I’ve found a workaround: I first press the “show all” button in the panel. Afterwards I leftklick in the viewport and select cutting planes --> restore previous cutting planes. Hope this helps. (don’t know if the namings are correct)

                    best regards
                    Alex
