Can we export .smc file to ifc format

Hi,
I am using Solibri for the first time. I want to optimize my IFC file (size nearly 350 MB). so after optimizing it can only be saved as a .smc file. Can I get the file in IFC format or export it as an IFC file?

That is not possible within Solibri.

If you don’t have access to the native files, I would recommend using the program Simplebim. Blender with the BlenderBIM add-on is a very powerfull tool that can do the same, but is not easy to learn.

If you have access to the native files, I would recommend using that option. A lot of the times you can reduce the filesize by not exporting unnecessary properties, or exporting in IFC 4.0 instead of 2x3.
