I occasionally encounter the problem of my Solibri files becoming very large (500+ MB), causing lengthy save times. Frequently saving becomes a hassle. Striking the right balance between saving time and file “safety” is tricky. I’ve already disabled the option to save “3D views in the model.” Are there other ways to reduce file sizes? In navisworks (years ago), I remember the option to save files without referenced models, which was helpful.

    kind regards

Delete ITo’s, Classifications and Reports that you don’t use

@BvanDalsum Good tip I will try that! Quick question what are ITo´s ? And what when the models are reason for the size? currently my only solution for that is making different Solibri files for different rules but then updating models are a chore.

Sorry for jumping in the discussion! ITO stands for “Information Take Off” that is for quantity calculations, kind of queries.
