Open model button not working

Hi we’ve encountered a weird issue. When trying to open a model with the open model button in File layout or in Model tree view in Model layout, there is no response, you don’t even get the popup window for choosing you model. It works to manually choose and double click directly on the model to open it. We tried uninstalling and checked that there was nothing left solibriwise on the computer before re-installing Solibri.
Machine runs with Windows 11 pro similar computers at office don’t have this problem.
Any suggestions?

Which version of Solibri are you using? Are you using Solibri Office/Site/Anywhere?

It’s in Solibri Office. We have tried from version 9.10.8 up to 24.5 with same result.

@Lole-Flodqvist Are you aware that in 24.5 you can also use drag and drop to open models? That might help you a bit.

So the Open Models in File layout does not do anything even when you have no model opened?
How about Add Models, when you have a model opened?You could send the contents of your log folder located under your Solibri installation folder. Just zip the folder and send it over. You can also remove all files from the log folder before you start Solibri, and then launch Solibri and try to open a model. After that just create a zip of the log folder content and send it over.

@Pasi-Paasiala yes i’m aware but that’s not the issue. I’ll try the solutions in your last post and see if it helps.

@Lole-Flodqvist I’ve come across similar behaviour related to an obscure file sorting issue. Try adding the following parameter to the solibri.vmoptions file:
-Djava.util.Arrays.useLegacyMergeSort=trueYou can find the solibri.vmoptions file in the installation folder of Solibri (usually C:\Program Files\Solibri\SOLIBRI).
You can edit the file with the Notepad app. -
