Integrations to ACC and Trimble Connect not working in second Solibri instance
-
We’ve started to use the option to work with models in Solibri directly from both ACC and Trimble Connect, using the integration option.
However, when we open more than one instance of Solibri, it is not possible to activate the integration in the second instance. The webpage with the Authentication request to connect to Trimble Connect in the second instance of Solibri is loaded, but doesn’t make an actual connection.
Meanwhile it seems that in the first instance of Solibri the connectivity is still active (the switch remains set to ON), but updates to IFC models in the platforms will not be recognized by Solibri (when set to Prompt).
This can only be resolved by closing both Solibri instances.
This behaviour of not being able to connect a second instance of Solibri not only occurs in Trimble Connect but in BIM360/Autodesk Construction Cloud as well (I have not tested this in SharePoint and/or OneDrive).
For now we store our SMC files locally (in a synchronized Teams folder), but we would like to transfer them to Trimble Connect. If we do that, we can only open one SMC file at a time, which is not a workable scenario for us.
Is this a known issue and/or will this be resolved? -
@Solibrians Is this a known issue and/or can this be resolved?

@Solibrians, can any of you guys reply, please? A response from your side would be much appreciated.

By default only one connection is supported at the same time. There might be a workaround for this. I will come back with more info.
