    Hey,

I’ve managed to create a specific column with a predefined material, but I’m struggling to make it dynamic.

What I’d like is to automatically list all available materials along with each of their thicknesses — ideally generated dynamically.

Is there a way to achieve this? It could be displayed either as a single list (like []) or across multiple lines.

Any suggestions or examples would be greatly appreciated!

You need to specify for each material separately:

        Hi,

This is a quality-of-life issue for me as well.

Specifying the thickness separately for each material can become tedious, especially when working with a large number of different materials. Some level of dynamic functionality would really help improve efficiency here. There’s also the risk that newly added materials might be missed if not manually updated, which could lead to inconsistencies.

One possible solution could be to include the thickness directly in the material name string in the Identification tab — for example:
        Plaster - 13mm, Some_other_mat - 25mm, etc.

To keep it flexible, this could be added as an optional setting — allowing users to toggle whether the thickness is automatically appended to the material name.

Would something like this be feasible?
