Extension for Customers (not Company Extensions)

Hi,

currently we are developing Classifications, Rulesets and Roles for our customers and are searching for a possibility to deliver them as an extension.

The Company Extensions seem not be the right choice, because apparently the implemented resources (rulesets etc.) have to be located in the excact same location on the client side otherwise they are missing?? (is this correct?, I always thought, that the whole point of extensions is, to share everything in one neat package and all the ressources are implemented).

In the old days Solibri also showed us the paid extensions, but they seem to be gone completely. Does anybody know how to deliver/host extensions for customers?

in the worst case, we are forced to deliver all rescources by its own and give our clients a guide where to put them…but this seems not quite elegant.

I tried rather desperately using paths.properties, but this is trial and error at best, since it doesn’t seem to work consistently. You will find more infos in Documentation for Solibri System Administrators.pdf, should you not know this.
