    It’s 2026 and yet again Solibri managed to make me lose 2-3 hours of work by freezing and getting fully white.
    It’s the moments I love in the late evening, 48 hours before delivering a bid of a high stakes project.
    All because I applied a “filter by basket” on rule results.

    Still no auto-save or save reminder in view, still no backup options or live saving of rule results… Why? @Solibrians

    Had to rage a bit.

      Do you have a laptop with external monitor plugged in?
      We have this problem sometimes and for us its probably Windows with their shitty GPU drivers and/or monitor support.

      Try disabling the external monitor if you have one next time and see if it makes a difference

        I just had the same Issue on Windows with Solibri 26.6.0.x - luckily with no data loss. I am installing the update to 26.6.1.120 right now, hoping that stuff like that doesn’t happen again. Solibri used to be quite stable, but somehow it keeps getting worse and worse since 25.x.
        As customers, we use the software as a productivity tool, we are not beta-testers!

          FYI I just sent my file to the support, now that I got enough time to make a report.

          I do have a Monitor connected over my docking station.
          I’ll try, thanks for the tip. As far as I remember I had tried this a few years ago when getting white windows and it didn’t solve it.
          In my experience, when getting white windows, the crash is unavoidable.

            @Alex-J

            Another thing to look into: I found out that laptops that have a dual GPU (integrated graphics and a dedicated GPU), Windows is sometimes bugging out when you wake the PC out of sleep. When the PC goes to the sleep-state, it shuts down the dedicated GPU for battery management purposes. The thing is that it sometimes doesn’t activate the dedicated GPU when waking up for programs like Solibri…
