BIM360 / ACC integration not working
-
Can we get an update? We are unable to update our models and this is effectig our daily operation!
-
@JeroenKoomen
You can use de Autodesk desktop connector app to go to the BIM360 projects, and open the smc models.
But the use off de autodesk connector app is not very stabel. -
@Harmen-Jorritsma that is not a solution… the path is different per user.

Update: We have identified that the problem is indeed about Autodesk changing their auth endpoints, and we had somehow completely missed information about this. We’ll find out later how that was possible. Anyway, fixing the problem requires making a hot fix release that we’re currently working on and will get released as soon as possible. We’re really sorry for the inconveniences the problem is causing in the meanwhile.
-
@Sini-Aalto any idea when the hotfix will be released?
Will it take hours or days? -
@JeroenKoomen We are already working hard on it and hope to be able to provide you with the hotfix tomorrow at noon
-
@Paul-Linder thx for the update!

@JeroenKoomen
This mesage is what ik get form our IT deparment
This message is what I get from our IT department
At the moment, the Solibri BIM360 integration is working again. The problem arose because Autodesk has disabled something since today (Authentication V1) and apparently we should have used something else instead (Authentication V2). What is true is that communication from Autodesk has not been very good and that this action has caused things to fall apart not only for us but also at other companies. Autodesk itself apparently also encountered problems and had to reverse some things so that it works (temporarily) again. No idea when they plan to turn off what they wanted to turn off today again. I’ve had that question again. Tomorrow I will also receive an update from Solibri. I’ll keep you informed. -
Thx @Harmen-Jorritsma Bij ons werkt het ook weer…
It works for us again…
-
@Eric is it still the plan on releasing a fix today?
It works for now… but would be nice to have the fix before 31-07-2024.
Friday is my last day before holiday… and otherwise the same things happens on the 31st but all the people that can fix it will be on holiday… -
@JeroenKoomen We will likely release a Beta version first, you’ll be able to validate (as well as other users) that the auth v2 works as expected, then a production release.
-
@Eric Is in this beta version only the v2 authorisation active? Otherwise testing will be useless because until the 31st v1 authorisation is also possible…
When do you expect the beta? -
@JeroenKoomen the relevant fix in the Beta will be available as soon as possible, hopefully before the end of this week.
-
Based on the further information we got from Autodesk, the changes related to the change of auth endpoints can be done only in the backend after all, so there’s no need for a hotfix release now. So no need for testing or version upgrade, the integration will continue working!
-
@Sini-Aalto @Eric @Paul-Linder
Are you sure about this?
We made a case about this with Autodesk and this is the reaction we get:
-
@calvin02 why would i do that?
It is working right now, i am only afraid that on the 31st of July it won’t work because the the V1 Authentication will be terminated.
-
@JeroenKoomen yes it should be ok: we got in contact with Autodesk and the change of endpoints is indeed happening. They added us to the list of customers that get extra time until the 31st of July. The reason why we don’t need to make a hotfix release is that contrary to the earlier information we had, the required changes can only be done in the backend, which doesn’t require a new release. We have already implemented the changes in the backend but it may take some time until they become effective i.e. when V2 endpoints are in use. There should anyway be much enough time for that to happen before the end of month. So everything should be fine but we’ll follow up the situation in case problems would arise.
