In the plumbing design, made in Revit, considering a vertical building, we have a lot of similar floors.

In this case, what happening in Revit is: is create one file RVT, then we use LINKED MODEL RVT a lot of times.

What’s the problem? When exporting IFC from Revit, if it’s a LINKED FILE, will be exported one by one.

In a building with 30 floors, if all plumbing designs are made in this situation, we will have a lot of IFC FILES.

Someone knows a way to MERGE all this IFC FILES?

PS: i dont want to bind link in revit

      Hi @petrinnn,

That is not possible in Solibri.
Offcourse it can be done with other software tools, like SimpleBIM.

Other workaround is to make a copy of your revit model, bind links in this copy and then export to IFC.
Only use this copy with binded links to export to IFC.

This is not really a question for this forum by the way 🙂

      Kind regards,

      Jeroen
