Issues reading IFC from Allplan 2020

Hi all,

We are detecting some solibri read issues about to IFC files created from Allplan (in allplan version 2020.0.3, but also happens in IFCs created from older Allplan versions).

In our initial test we detect some solibri read issues, and affects in the IFC files 2x3 and 4 from Allplan:

Layers: They are inside IFC file (in 2x3 and 4 file), but they are not readed when we open IFC 4 file.
Profile: They are inside IFC file, but they are not readed
Others: Maybe there are other solibri read issues…

We tested the same IFC files in other IFC viewers, and those issues are not happening (for example, in FZK viewer)

I attach the two IFC files, in one zip file.

Hello @Xavier,

Thanks for the feedback. We have done some testing with the current version (9.10.4.13), and:

Layers (IFCPRESENTATIONLAYERWITHSTYLE) not showing up in IFC4 file: This has been reproduced, the issue has been addressed and a fix will be out in the next release (9.10.5)
Profile: We were not able to reproduce any problems (or differences) between the IFC2x3 and IFC4 test files. Both of them indicate the Profile Type in the identification tab.
Other issues: There are some known issues with e.g. unsupported IFC4 classes/entities, and we are currently working towards getting these supported as well as taking steps towards IFC4 import certification.
