Rename standards Pset

Is anybody knows how can I translate the name of any standard PSET into my native language?
It would help my colleagues.

Hi, The easiest way is to do a mapping of the requested PSETs and Proprties in the CADprogram to Psets of your choice.

Thanks so much. We know about this method and we use it.
However, we are planning get many models from many different companies. It means we will never know have any standard Pset in the IFC file or not. It would be nice to have a tool to save the current configuration from the “IFC import settings” dialog into MS Excel, as well as to export. It will be very useful in daily practice.

In Sweden we have solved it so in ARCHICAD its set in the template. Then there have been creted txt files for the other programs so everyone deliver according to predefined names and PSET. So my suggestion is if you don’t have a standard you have to create the export files and inform the users how to export with that.

We know about mapping.
In our city, there are a huge number of big or small companies that have different software.
There are Autodesk, Trimble (Tekla), Graphisoft, MagiCAD Group, Intergraph, Bentley, Nemetschek and so on. All of them have to teach their customers but not we are.
We just asked about such a possibility. A new small tool would be useful for us, but we’ll manage.
