    Hi,

When the PDF drawing have a white surface (I’m not sure about the reason), althoutgh it is located under the IFC-elements (when these are set with some transparency), there is a overlap in the 3D view, making dificult to understand it.

I’m sending a picture of some spaces (transarent) over a PDF-drawing.

    Capture.PNG

I think it should be better so be able to se the transparent elements over the PDF-drawing.

    Regards

    Nuno

      Hi Nuno,

Regarding the transparancy of the PDf, I think it depends on the type of PDF printer and the settings that are used when making the PDF’s. I tried to search how I could control this, but with no succes. If somebody knows more about this, I would really like to know that.

I know, i tried that as well, its not the PDF printer but the modelling software.
For example, if you remove the hatch patters from materials in Revit and make an new PDF it becomes transparent. I think it is because the hatch patterns aren’t vectors but raster of images in the pdf.

But without the hatch patterns the pdf has less visual value for me.
