    Hi Everyone,
I am looking for a rule that checks the dimension between the top edge of the ProvisionForVoid and the lower edge of the slab above the PFV elements, in a way that checks that all dimensions are clear numbers, like 20 cm, 25 cm, 30 cm. Not 37 cm or 43 m.

    Thanks

      Hello,
The “component distance” Rule is the one I use

@anees-alomar Good luck with this Issue. I never saw MEP planner who can handle this properly 😉

But i also use the distance rule 222 for that.

@maxime-sabbagh thank you, the distance rule has a minimum and a maximum range, but it doesn’t check if the number is clear or not. Thanks anyway

@chris well, the MEP planners are doing great job with us, however it is better to develop a rule so we can have the PFVs controlled, but you are right, it is very hard to find someone who can do it right.
The 222 rule will check if the PFVs are into the min. or max distance from the slab, but it will not check how many numbers there are after the comma. Thank you 🙂
