Poll: How do you use Roles?

Regarding Roles, which provide a pre-packaged environment and allow easy access to resources, we would like to get your feedback!
How often do you use Roles, and do you primarily use them for yourself, or do you create them for other individuals, or perhaps the company as a whole?

I voted ‘never’, but we have the intend to change that in the near future.We see the benefits of it, but the focus has been on inplementing other parts of Solibri first.

We use “empty” roles to avoid popup’s (when loading rules for example) but have not implemented roles yet.

We use Roles like a Template for most of the users because of high standardization in early project phases. Therefore the Roles serve as a perfect Start Kit for the needed Filtes, Classifications, Standard Ruleset and ITOs so that the users have the most important ressources ready for using when they start Solibri. (Saves some time especially when using Solibri Live with Archicad)
However, the management of the Roles could indeed be improved. While some things like setting server paths can be achieved by manipulating the .xml manually, others require a smart folder management e.g. when ressources are updated and used by different roles). And of course users should not have write permisison in those folders as this could easily destroy your work accidently. So, I like what’s possible, but I think there is space for improvements in terms of usability.
