Combine multiple components/objects in ITO's
-
Hello,
Making ITO’s works with setting the components.
This can be almost everything. But is it possible that you can set more different object/components for making a ITO?
For example: you want to see the width of a window, but also the width of the beam in the brickwork.
So you can see if the width of both object are corresponding with each other.Probably you have to make a classification first of those components, before making a ITO.
Is there anyone with a other workaround or a solution?
Or wants the same possibility?Thanx,
Met vriendelijke groet,

Hi Harmen,
I am wondering whether this is an issue for ITO’s or not.
It is possible to write filters for different components in ITO’s to get their widths in a list, but you cannot put them in relation to each other.
So if you want to check, whether the beam above the window is long enough, you could use rule SOL/23/5.1 to check the required coverage oft he beam above the opening.
I know that this is not exactly want you want, especially because you are not able to define the minimal offset of the beam (the minimal length the beam has to be longer than the opening is wide).
But if you calculate the required coverage, you will at least get the beams that are too short.
I hope that this could work for you.
Cheers and groetjes naar Wesp,Daniel

Hello Daniel,
Thank you for your answer.
I already thought it was not possible with a ITO, but maybe there was something I overlooked.
I’m going to try your solution with ruleSOL/23/5.1.Greeting,
Harmen
