Place a figure in model to check height/accessability
-
Hiya all!
Does anyonw know if there’s a feature (kinda like in Navisworks) to place a figure of a “standard height man/woman” (i.e. 175-180cm) in the model to check accessability, mainly for installation-spaces or doors? Is this a feature that is under review?
Thank you!
/Best regards

Hi. We do have some other ways to check for height-accessibility.
Accessible Door Rule can check that the doors are high enough. Accessible Ramp Rule can check that there is enough free space above the ramp and Accessible Stair Rule can check the same thing for stairs. -
Hey @lasse-lindqvist
Well, it’s for areas where there is no door present and we would like to check the height for installation rooms, (undercentraler/fläktrum)!

Hey @Joel ,
why not using the #222 Component Distance Rule? With the help of classifications, you should be able to classify the affected surfaces accordingly and then measure if there is anything above this surface in a respective (e.g. this average height of a person) maximal distance. Otherwise, you could also directly measure the space component (e.g. installation room) itself for its dimension with Rule Template #230…
Would that help?
