    What is the reason why existing rules are not checking anymore after model update?

    This is my file before I update:

    After updating a model (almost identical, classifications are still working, …) and checking again the results dissapper and there is just … nothing in the active rules and checking process is finishing very quickly.

    However if i copy the ruleset it works (without changing anything) - needless to say that all my result connections are gone when I do this, so not really an option.

    Tried it a few times - not even closing and opening the ruleset helps me here, only if I copy or recreate the ruleset - it is everytime the same, what is going on here?!

      Hi!

      It’s difficult to debug this problem without logs. You could contact our Support ( https://help.solibri.com/hc/en-us/requests/new ), describe the problem and provide them with logs (and possibly the model that is causing the problem).

      Best Regards,
      Manuel Furia

        @manuel-furia

        It is indeed difficult to detect the culprit and I am spending now most of the day trying to rescue my slides and find a workaround.
        What I’ve found out so far is that the subrules of a gatekeep are not working after I update any model in the file.
        If I copy the the rules and do not change anything they work, but fun fact: if I update the models again they won’t work either and i would have to repeat this all over again.

        Does this help you to recreate the problem? For now to complete the task in time I found a complicated classification workaround to pass by the gatekeepers but that can’t be the final solution. I will investigate this further and probably send sth in the other day if I find some time, but all signs indicate that there’s something mysterious going on with the gatekeepers.

          @jsn
          Sometimes is works after you update the model, to open a classification settings and click OK.
          Than the rules thinks there are changes made and will check the new model good(more time)
