How to remove faulty added issue status to te dropdown?

Hi.
By mistake i managed to add a status that makes no sense what so ever. This happened as i was rushing and assumed the coursor was in the comment field, and not in the status field. As a result my “ISSUE DETAILS” window as a whole got a lot wider, and messes up my entire layout.
The whole reason is that the Status field auto adjusted its width to contain the whole mistyped “new” status.

Please tell me theres a way to remove this status from the smc file without rolling it back to the previously saved version, as that will cost me a day…
