Check for duplicate BATID's
-
Is it possible to make a rule which checks wether there are duplicate BATID’s in a model?
This sometimes happen when for instance floors or ceilings are modelled as one object in Revit but are exported as 2 or more elements to IFC.
I have tried several rules but couldn’t find one which worked.Underneath an example in Solibri:

Same BATID with different GUID in the same model:

Hi,
you may use the information take off and add a column of the batIds and enable grouping only for that column. so when a row counts more than one object then you can find the double or more objects with the same BatId. i think also its easier to export the ITO to Excel and search the doubles there -
Yes I thought of that to, however I would like to have it also as a rule.
Then if engineers run the ruleset they will get an error… -
Great, thanks very much.
I must have mist that one. -
