GFX Card vs CPU

I’m wondering what is used more when loading geometry and classifying components, is the CPU used more or the GPU. When buying a new desktop or laptop, what should have priority?

Solibri uses GPU only in rendering.
Classification and Loading geometry uses CPU.
I would invest to CPU and memory when using Solibri.
We hope utilize GPU more in future.

Can you give some more indepth advice in what to look for?
For example, are CPU’s with better multi thread performance a better choice for Solibri?
Optimal / minimal amount of RAM?

16 GB RAM, preferably more. I know that some extreme projects requires 64GB.
At the moment modern CPUs have enough Threads for Solibri. We will utilize more Threads in future.
