Limited total number of issues across all Presentations
-
I found that there seems to be a limit on the number of issues that can be imported into the Presentation, and the number is around 500.
I tried to create presentations by importing BCF file generated from BIMtrack. The bcf contains around 800 issues.
The import failed when I imported these 800 issues into one presentation. When I split the issues into 100 issues for each presentation, the import failed at my 5th presentation.
@Solibrians is there a total number of issues limit that can be imported into presentations?
if so, can this limit be raised? -
@Wing-Mang there is no limit I’m aware of. Did you get any error message when the import failed? Or some error in the logs? (You can find the logs in the Solibri installation folder)

We tested this and we wer not able to reproduce the memory leak.
Please contact support and if possible send the model with BCF there. -
@Matti-Kannala
Out of curiosity and a related issue here I wanted to enquiry about the limitations of presentations. We have a model which is rather huge in terms of file size and issues but on a powerful machine with lots of memory it’s basically running smoothly.
However the performance bottleneck seems to be sorting slides within and between presentations. Currently there are a bunch of presentations (for each building story) and in total about 3k slides. The project went trough a number of Solibri versions as it is up and running since a couple of years. Meaning that the ongoing slide index is also a 5 digit number.
Sorting slides (with just a few components attached) causes performance lags and constant freezing while everything else seems to be fine. What could cause this behaviour?
a) the history and legacy - meaning that the file has been around since a while b) the amount of slides / high index - which is indeed high but technically should not that high - or is there a critical number? c) the model and file size which seems to be no problem for all other tasks but might be an issue when it comes to data access of slide data? d) a known issue within Solibri regarding this functionality? e) probably all of the above mentioned points?
