    Hi all,

For all our projects we’re using the SharePoint integration to add and update IFC models.
For one of the projects this connection doesn’t work properly: We use the ‘prompt’ method, but Solibri won’t reconize updated models from Sharepoint, so the prompt button won’t appear. As a result we have to update each model by hand.

Are there similar experiences regarding this issue? Hope to find a solution here.
    Steps taken so far:

    1. Reported the problem to the support department:
I suspect that the unpredictable behavior is a symptom of sporadically failing to read the timestamp within SharePoint. Note: by this, I mean the moment when a file was ‘last modified’; this has nothing to do with the timestamp in the IFC that indicates when the model was exported. I have noticed that sometimes this SharePoint timestamp is read as a null value. As a result, the model gets assigned a date from 1970. I keep seeing this recurring in your log files, but it seems to happen randomly. The underlying cause is still unclear. It is now up to the developers to investigate this further.
    2. I re-made the whole Solibri model, so from scratch added each model and save it again as an .smc file.
In the beginning this seemed a solution, because the ‘prompt’ button appeared again. But unfotunatly after a while the issue came back.
    3. re-assigned the update proces from ‘prompt’ to ‘automatic’ and back again.
    4. deleted the .solibri folder from C:/Users/Solibri
    5. Re-installed Solibri

    Regards,

    Willem
