    Hello

    I am try to make a custom classification Rules base on the GUID elements but for some reason it doesn’t work.
    I got the Excel list with the GUID of the elements and relative Classification Name, I imported the data using the functionality Import Excel Worksheet but it doesn’t work. The format of the excel is correct, I started with an exported Excel from Classification Rules and the GUID of the elements are existing in the model.
    I don’t understand why it doesn’t work. Do you have any idea?

      @Simo_Z
      It’s because of the components filter. Now every element is excluded and nothing is included. That’s why the classification doesn’t see any components or GUID’s to work with.

      If you add an ‘include’ row, for example ‘Include Any’ or change one or the two rules to ‘Include’, hopefully it’s working correctly.
      Good luck!

          can you please elaborate what you goal is with the GUIDs.
          From experience I know that there Codes are just machine readable and won’t always be there for the classification. If a new element gets created in your BIM authoring tool, it receives a new GUIDs which will be missing in your classification list in Solibri.
          Just was wondering how do you inted to implement it, and the benefits are 🙂
