Dimensions' color fills

Try using the ‘auto-hide measurements’ functionality. It’s supposed to hide the measurements when you zoom out to a certain threshold, although you don’t have control when that happens…
The settings also have a fill color settings, but there is no ability to choose transparant as a color. @Solibrians could that be a future change?

is it possible to disable the new dimension fills?
Not possible yet. The fill opacity is fixed to 205/255.

Also the auto hide threshold distance is hard coded now to 10 times the measurement length and at least 2m.
- 1m measurement will disappear when looking from 10m distance.
- 1cm measurement will disappear when looking from 2m distance.

I think this is beginning to frustrate a lot of people. Especially if we are using autorun. Measurements should be hidden by default then selected to reveal…not the other way around. I appreciate we can hide them but I always want to hide them, very minimal use case for having them on by default.
This is like the 6th post ive seen about the measurements now since the update

Hiding the dimensions is not the right solution in many cases, for example when they are manually placed. I think the possibilty to disable fills or some gradient of transparency would be optimal.
As a rule, the fill should also never cover the lines describing where the dimension is. This would unfortunately introduce some offset management.

I agree, there is a lot of work to hide measurements, but also don’t forget the performance hit when Solibri tries to render a large amount of dimensions.
There is a workaround to disable the measurements which I use. In the ‘Solibri.vmoptions’ under C:\Program Files\Solibri\SOLIBRI, add the following line of text:
-DClashDetectionMatrix.NoClashVisualizations=true -
in my opinion the new measurement tool is a pain in the *ss.
ik like the new features but when using Site or Anywhere there is really no control.
in that case i like the “old” measurement tool better. Not every improvement is progress.
