Solibri 9.12.1: BCF Live Connector ony connects if I execute Solibri with admin rigths

Hi,

I have some problems with BCF Live Connector: only connects if I execute Solibri with admin rigths. For me it’s not a problem, but in my office, not all the people can execute software with admin rights… Does someone have the same problem?

Interessting. I had the exact opposite problem some time ago. However, it looks like that probably your security software or IT restrictions might block ‘normal users’ running Solibri from connecting to the server.

I found the solution, from Solibri forum, and it works!

Today I could not load the BIMcollab projects anymore, strangely I could delete the stored connection but not add it anymore afterwards … restarting did not help - the button seemed to be not working anymore …

… and then I remembered this post and deleted the .solibri folder and now it works again.
So thanks for that
