Indeed we do see this as an important improvement to Autorun, however for the time being this is on hold. We are however building up the most important Autorun improvements, and aim to deliver a solid package of Autorun improvements in the second half of this year. This request is at the top of the list.

@Thibaut Another format that is used alot is .las and .laz

Basically this is a feature to help you to get rid of inconsistencies in the model. Updating the models as is prompted should fix them. If the dialog comes with certain models frequently, we’d need to get our hands to those, so we can study what causes those inconsistencies.

I tested with

Thanks for pointing this out. That is an important point and main point of using classifications with the =1 notations to pass values along as classification names. I’ve added the comment and link to your comment to #1064 in our tracking system

True, but letting ChatGPT fantasize about something which should in fact be really precise (like IDS) is probably not a good idea (at the moment). Though on the other hand this topic is really interesting as it would be powerful to make it possible to have a view which allows OpenAI API integration to use that to communicate with Solibri model data like checking results.

We have our ruleset templates saved in a central location. We have an example new project folder which contains the source excel file also saved in a central location.
Usually, when we setup a new project we copy the new project folder to it’s new location and name it.
We then open our ruleset template in the project solibri model and save the ruleset as a new ruleset with the new project parameters in the project folder. We then need to relink all the rules to the excel file.

Unfortunately, I don’t have an update on the matter. Copying product management in regard to this issue: @Paul-Linder @Sini-Aalto

Thanks for clarifying the state of affairs, I would really recommend the link-functionallity (not via hyperlink-Manager or hyperlink-templates) so that every file or hyperlink works as a given value anywhere in a IFC-File (IFCLABEL).

Another question is it possible to make Custom Hierarchy based on issue location?

The cross symbol means that there error in the checking code.
Look the specific issue with that symbol in the rule.
There is an error report. Send that to solibri support.

I’ve also realized that there is an issue if the links contain special symbols like brackets as depicted below …

For the record - this link is indeed valid as the filenames indeed contain those brackets but Solibri (and other IFC Viewer) solely allow this link to be clickable if I would (manually) encode those brackets. See below …

So I am curious if there is a loophole in the URL processing mechanism. How does Solibri detect hyperlinks and can this be adressed so that all links are working or is this an issue outside of Solibri’s scope?
