Tech Talks

Hi Cris.

update (quoting from my architect)
‘If I uninstall/uninstall the IFC exporter from Autodesk for Revit, and then make an IFC export it’s back to normal….’

@Alex-J Correct.

Pasi

Out ICT department fixed the problem. They deleted something in the windows register and now it works again.

Hi. You need to be more specific. What exactly do you want to filter with the rule, and how specifically does it not work?

@JSN BIMcollab. Do you use another one which is faster?

Super important already and will be even more so. We do the co2 quantities in Archicad directly, not the smoothest way and hard to compare and test alternatives.

Hi @gju

This is a known issue @BIM1337 reported on https://society.solibri.com/topic/1550/autorun-from-networkfolder

I’ve updated the internal task with your post so our development is aware.

@Mvandenbrink

I have never used the company extensions but afair you have to upload the packages to solution center everytime when you change something. Whether the advantage of roles is that you simply can overwrite existing ressources in the repository and the most recent ones are automatically loaded without any further changes or actions nedded of the relevant users and the roles they use.

Tbh I am not familiar with the shared ressources and central deployment possibilitiers either. Probably the easiest way is still to find (or create) a common path for all users.

Floor = name of the floor in the modell itself --> true
Federated floor = name of the floor in relation to all the models --> is the name of the floor reverence to the architect model.

In my case, i have serveral models:

I have an classification for this so I have always the same name.

ok, this topic is 6 months old, and we are still waiting for this to happen.
I can not belive this is a topic. It should not be necessary to ask Solibri if they could please show all the information available in the IFC file.
This is not an issue in other Ifc viewers, so this cant be that hard to fix?

I believe the same instructions to remove Score should take care of getting rid of the getting started layout/ruleset/role: https://society.solibri.com/topic/1817/layout-bug-score-layout-keeps-coming-back

@sander-Eikelboom Not really without having all the references you need. Anyhow you could use Power Query to postprocess and format your lists accordingly in Excel I guess …

@Fjeld89 Did you try SOL/234/1.2?

Thanks a lot for your support, @john-lipp !
we will wait this new improvement.
Kind regards,

Hi
Where can I send it?

Hi. You can use the usual [email protected] to share it via some file-sharing service and reference this post so they know the background.

Hello!

We are examining the case internally with our Support team, and will reach out in case more information is needed.

Kind regards,
Toni on behalf of the Solibri team

@marchi said in General Intersection Rule - Component 2:

there seems to be a problem while using complex components in “component 2” - it shows us also the collisions with the building element parts, even if we try to exclude those.
what is your workaround to exclude building element parts?

I have not found an easy solution. if you think pre-/Postfiltering the results with a gatekeeper will give you the results… it only gives you separate elements in the collision and it does not matter how you filter them.

@chris Thanks.
